Upcoming Events

We want to update everyone on our significant progress in halting construction of boat storage towers at the TV Marina, and to tell you about plans to help us build community together in the future.

TV NEXT is ALL of us. We want to share news, answer questions and hear your feedback. We need your ideas and support.   Our progress includes:

• Filing a lawsuit in Circuit Court to overturn the site-plan approval

• Challenging permits at Southwest Florida Water Management District and other agencies

• Exposing significant violations of the state submerged lands lease, including language that negates parking credits for the project

• Responding to recent court filing suggesting the people of Tierra Verde do not have standing to challenge an industrial development in our community

• Challenging Greenleaf’s financial filings with Florida Department of Environmental Protection

In addition, at this Open House on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., we will discuss how we plan to help Tierra Verde build for our shared FUTURE with exciting new projects for our island community!
